FB row: 'Action may be taken against Mumbai cops'

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said that action may be taken against the police men who arrested two girls from Palghar for a Facebook post against the shutdown after Shiv Sena chiefBal Thackeray's death.

Chavan said that action will be taken based on the inquiry report ordered into the arrests by the Maharashtra government.

The government instituted an inquiry headed by the Konkan range inspector general into the matter on Monday and sought a report immediately.
