Cong: CM Mamata should evolve from street fighter

Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari today said it is a very strange situation that a political party with 19 Members of Parliament talks about bringing a no-confidence motion, and expressed hope that West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee would seriously introspect about her actions.

"It has never happened in the history of Parliament that a party with 19 members talks about a no-confidence motion,' said Tewari. "I had said this earlier also when I was the spokesperson of the Congress Party that you have to evolve from being a street fighter to a statesperson, you have to evolve from an agitator to a administrator.

"It's a time, which comes in everybody's life. And, with due respect, I do hope that the Chief Minister of West Bengal would seriously introspect about her actions,' he added
