Tempers flare as Sainiks try to enter Matoshree

Rediff.com's Patcy Fernandes reports from outside Matoshree: A minor scuffle broke out between police personnel and Shiv Sainiks who wanted to enter the premises of Thackeray's residence.

Thousands and thousands supporters from across city are converging at Matoshree.

Despite heavy police deployment, they are finding it difficult to control the grieving Sainiks.

Senior Sena leaders have appealed to supporters to maintain calm. Senior Sena leader Ramdas Kadam has appealed Sainiks not to tarnish the image of Thackeray.
