Suu Kyi visits Shantivan, pays homage to Nehru

Myanmar's pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday, visited Shantivan, Jawaharlal Nehru's memorial this morning on the occasion of the birth anniversary of India's first PM.

She is then expected to visit Rajghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi and follow up with a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today. She will also deliver the Nehru memorial lecture.
