Vaidya: Jethmalani has an opinion, why can't I?

Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ideologue M G Vaidya has said that he stands by his remark that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was behind the campaign against Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Gadkari. He says needle of suspicion points to Modi, and says its his personal opinion. "If Ram Jethmalani can have a personal opinion, so can I," said Vaidya.

The BJP has been quick to announce that Vaidya's remarks are his own.
