Athlete Pinky Pramanik male, charged with rape

Just in: Medical reports suggests athlete Pinky Pramanik is male. The West Bengal police have now chargesheeted Pramanik on two counts of rape, assault and cheating. The Asian Games gold medalist runner Pramanik was arrested in June after it was alleged she is a male and tried to rape a woman. Consequent, medical tests proved inconclusive and Pramanik was released from jail.

This test has been performed by a group of doctors at the SSKM hospital in Kolkata.
