Narayanasamy denies reports of multi-member CAG

Minister of state in Prime Minister's office V Narayanasamy has denied saying that the government is considering making CAG a multi-member body.

Speaking to Times Now, Narayanasamy claimed that he was misquoted in an interview with news agency PTI on the issue.

Earlier, PTI quoted Narayanasamy saying that government is "actively" considering a proposal to make the official auditor a multi-member body.
