November 09, 2012  16:24
Girish Karnad does it again. The playwright continued his tirade against Nobel laureate V S Naipaul yesterday and and called him an "old fogey and uncreative". He then targeted Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore saying he was a great poet, but his plays were dull and unbearable.

Speaking to reporters after a talk organized by the Azim Premji Foundation at its campus in Bangalore, Karnad continued his rant against Naipaul: "There is no development in his thought. He is saying the same thing. And he`s been uncreative for the past 10 years."
