For the first time in the Union Cabinet, newcomers attended the Cabinet meeting that was held at the South Block.

Pallam Raju, Harish Rawat and Rekhman Khan were attentive and took notes. Old timers were enjoying this. At one point even the prime minister noticed the newcomers really concentrating on discussions.

The Cabinet deliberated for 22 minutes until the prime minister announced the meeting was over, and many of them, including the newcomers including went outside.   Six of them remained seated to attend the Cabinet committee on economic affairs.
