Pitroda to hold first global press meet on Twitter

Sam Pitroda, adviser to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, will hold the first-ever global press conference on Friday on microblogging site Twitter to discuss global innovation.

"Sam Pitroda, Adviser to the Indian Prime Minister on Public Information Infrastructure and Innovations and Chairman, National Innovation Council will host the first global press conference on Twitter to discuss Global Innovation Round-table," an official statement said.

The Global Twitter Press Conference will be conducted on November 2, the concluding day of the Global Innovation Round-table hosted by the National Innovation Council, it added.
