Empty trains, buses as Mumbaikars stay home

Shops are shut across Mumbai, but with 48,000 police on the roads, there have been no reports of any untoward incidents so far. There have been preventive detentions last night. Local trains, buses are plying, but have been going relatively empty with most people opting to stay home.
