Bharat bandh tomorrow, but no joint rally by Opposition

Rediff.com's Onkar Singh reporting from New Delhi says the BJP, left parties and the Samajvadi party have decided to protest against the steep hike in the price of petrol with countrywide demonstrations, dharnas and will also court arrest to register their anger against the the Rs 7.50 hike in petrol prices.

 

"The members of parliament, state legislators have been asked to go to their respective constituencies and lead their electorate against the sheepest hike in history. At the moment no joint rally is being planned," Rajeev Pratap Rudy told rediff.com.
