BJP leader Sanjay Joshi has resigned from the party's national executive, according to sources. Joshi is a known critic of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Sources said that Modi had agreed to attend the BJP national executive meet, which starts in Mumbai today, only in the absence of Joshi.
