Kadapa MP and YSR Congress President Y S Jaganmohan launched a frontal attack on ruling Congress and main opposition Telugu Desam Party accusing them of hatching a conspiracy, in concert with CBI, to get him arrested in next 3 to 4 days in disproportionate assets case.
"It is being talked about that I will be arrested by CBI in 3-4 days. It's all part of a large conspiracy by Congress, TDP and CBI", he charged.
Addresing a byelection campaign rally in Jammalamadaka in Macherla assembly constituencies, Jagan alleged "their game plan is to get me arrested and create violence in the state and stop the by-elections (slated for June 12)".
Both Congress and TDP fear losing their deposits in the by-elections (to 18 Assembly constituencies and one Lok Sabha seat) and hence were trying to stall the bypoll process by fomenting unrest in the state, Jagan alleged.
