13 dead, 30 hurt as trains collide in Andhra

At least 13 persons were killed and around 30 injured when Bengaluru-bound Hampi Express collided with a stationary goods train at Penneconda station of Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur district early on Tuesday morning, reports Vicky Nanjappa.

As a result of the collision the train derailed and two coaches caught fire. While the fire has been brought under control, rescue operations are still on.The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals.
