Backing his party colleague A Raja, prime accused in 2G spectrum scam, DMK chief M Karunanidhi on Tuesday expressed happiness over his securing bail.

"All in DMK support Raja," Karunanidhi said, hours after a Delhi court granted bail to the former Union Telecom Minister.

Talking to reporters at his Gopalapuram residence, the DMK patriarch said Raja securing bail gave him happiness.

To a question if Raja would be involved in active politics, he said all his partymen had been in active politics and so would be the case with Raja.

Asked whether he would visit Delhi to see his party colleague, Karunanidhi said "if I get a chance, I will visit Delhi to see Raja."
