Another one of those researches that makes you realise some people have a lot of time on their hands.

Motorists should be more wary when driving on Fridays, as it has been claimed to be the worst day of the week for a collision.

A new research from NRMA Insurance shows collisions on a Friday spiked by 16 per cent above the weekly average and Sunday is the least likely day to have a collision, the Courier Mail reported.

The peak hour times of 3 to 5pm during the week are the worst time for a collision and 11am to 1pm on the weekend.
