Modi pays tribute on former maharaja of Baroda's demise

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today paid tributes to former 'Maharaja of Baroda' and MP Ranjitsinh Gaekwad, who died yesterday after a prolonged
illness. Modi flew to Vadodara to pay homage to the departed soul before the last rites was performed at Royal crematorium in Raopura area of the city here.
The chief minister met the late Maharaja's wife Shubhanginidevi Gaekwad, his son Samarjeetsinh Gaekwad and other members of royal family and consoled them.
