Modi and Gohil ask for safety of Indian workers in Angola

In two separate letters, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and state Leader of Opposition Shaktisinh Gohil today made an appeal to the Centre to ensure safety of Indian youths working at an industrial plant in Angola. 

Around 40 youngsters from Gujarat amongst other Indian's are reportedly trapped in Angola, after they went on strike in Sumbe cement plant located in that country for not being paid six month wages and had to face police bullets and ire. 

Expressing concerns over the safety of these industrial workers in Angola, the Gujarat Chief Minister in a letter written to the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, has appealed him to ensure safety of the Gujarati and Indian youths trapped there.
