Mallya writes to staff: Salary payments have begun

Kingfisher Airlines boss Vijay Mallya writes to employees saying overdue salary payments have begun from today. He says actions by a few employees have put the airlines at risk, but he won't let misguided employees derail his efforts. Mallya says he will act firmly, decisively to protect Kingfisher Airlines.

The 'misguided' employees haven't been paid salaries since December . Mallya had promised dues would be cleared by May 9.
