5.4 quake hits northeast, epicenter at Tezpur, Assam

The quake measures 5.4 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the quake was at Tezpur, Assam, said the meteorological department.

No damages to any structures reported as yet. The quake was felt for around 10 seconds in the northeast.
