12 Air India, 7 Kingfisher flights cancelled

The ongoing crisis in Air India deepened further on the fourth day following the cancellation of 12 more flights.

The worst-hit in the ongoing crisis were the passengers, who alleged that they were not being informed about the cancellation of their flights in advance.

They also alleged the airline staffs were not cooperating nor were they providing any information about their flight or any alternate flights.

With over 200 pilots owing allegiance to the  Indian Pilots Guild refusing to join duty, AI said it was suspending its international bookings to New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Toronto, London, Paris and Frankfurt till May 15.

72 Kingfisher Airline pilots too have called in sick in all of north India. The airline's pilots are protesting against the non-payment of their salaries.

The result? 7 Kingfisher flights have been cancelled
