SC to Centre: Ex-CJI case to be decided by President

The Supreme Court asks a competent authority from the Centre to look into allegations of misconduct against former CJI KG Balakrishnan even as the court refuses to direct the Centre for presidential reference against Balakrishnan. The SC says it needs to be decided by the President on the advice of the Council of Ministers.
