French president-elect Francois Hollande said today that he would reveal his choice for prime minister on May 15 when he is due to be inaugurated. "You will have the name of the prime minister on May 15," Hollande told reporters as he left his election headquarters.

The 57-year-old Socialist said that he was focusing on international affairs for the moment. "During the upcoming days I am primarily focusing on international briefs because there are a lot of heads of state and governments who want to present me with a certain number of questions dear to them. I have to listen to them," he said. When asked if he had thought about the make-up of the new government, he said "not yet".
