Mamata says she told Hillary that Kolkata could be the new IT hub. She says the US appreciates the work her government has done and has promised to invest in Bengal.

Due to political reasons, there was no investment from the US, says Mamata, but all that is going to change. Hillary has promised US investment in the state. Mamata also told Hillary about the scope of US investment in the Bengal film industry. Mamata says post-modernisation investment has also been discussed.

Told Hillary that SRK is a huge star in India (a reference to the star's detention in a US airport recently.)
