May 07, 2012  10:45

At La Martineres girls school, Hillary is talking about outsourcing to India, a bearbug for the Obama government. The session is being held live on NDTV, anchored by Barkha Dutt.

A student asks if Indians should worry about their jobs. Dutt says that outsourcing has caused a lot of heartburn in India. Clinton says, "It's an election campaign, so there is an obligation to talk about what is on peoples mind. She says that Obama's campaign ad is directed at addressing the fears of people in manufacturing and don't have other job possibilities.

Yet again, she reiterates the importance of the relationship between India and the US, but steers clear of a directly answering the outsourcing question.
