The Supreme Court has given a life sentence to the nine people convicted in the Ode massacre. The verdict in the 2002 post-riot Ode killings was read out this morning with the Supreme Court convicting nine people and acquitting 32.

Three persons including two women were killed at Ode village in Anand 2002 in the post-Godhra riots. This is the third case of the 2002 riots at Ode village being probed by the Supreme Court appointed Special Investigation Team.
