Mamata Banerjee to meet PM today

In the midst of parleys among political parties on Presidential election candidate, Trinamoool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is likely to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Parliament on Thursday.

According to reports, Banerjee may also meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday.

The West Bengal chief minister, who will take part in the chief ministers' meet on the controversial National Counter Terrorism Centre issue on May 5, reached the capital on Wednesday.
