SC: Italian marines have to be available when required

Update on the release of the Italian ship Enrica Lexie: The apex court has allowed the four marines and six crew members on board to leave Indian shores alongwith the vessel. Italian government and the vessel owner assure SC that the marines and crew members will be available when required by Indian legal authorities.

The SC also directs the owner of the vessel to execute a bond of Rs 3 crore before Registrar General of Kerala High Court and says its order won't affect investigations and prosecution in the case of the killing of two Indian fishermen.
