Rajya Sabha TV signs MoU with PIB

Our Delhi sources also tell us that the Press Information Bureau (PIB) for the first time, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Rajya Sabha TV for official coverage of PIB briefings.

For regional TV network, Rajya Sabha will upload the feed of videos free of cost. This is a new venture, but interestingly Lok Sabha TV levies fees for uploading the Union Budget speech from its LS TV on footage basis. Competition is now tough between Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha TV
