Radia's PR firm lobbied for TTSL: Chandolia
May 02, 2012  19:41
R K Chandolia, facing trial in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case, has told a court in New Delhi that a top official of Tata Teleservices Ltd used to be in touch with corporate lobbyist Niira Radia's public relation firm, which was "liaisoning" for the Tatas in the DoT.

Chandolia, a former private secretary of erstwhile Telecom Minister A Raja, also alleged that prosecution witness Anand Dalal, senior Vice President, Corporate Regulatory Affairs of TTSL, used to discuss "liaison issue" of Department of Telecom with Rohit Dubey, then CEO of Vaishnavi Communications.

Dalal, however, denied the allegations saying he used to speak to Dubey only about media related issues.
