Mamata-Sonia meet on May 4 to discuss Prez nominee

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is heading to New Delhi today and is likely to meet with Congress president Sonia Gandhi on May 4. The Trinamool Congress chief is likely to discuss the issue of the Presidential poll candidate. Congress sources said Gandhi will be discussing the issue of the Prez nominee with Mamata as part of the Congress' efforts to reach out to its UPA allies to evolve a consensus on the candidature for the top post.
