Yoga guru Baba Ramdev today courted yet another controversy by saying that murderers, looters and illiterate people are sitting in Parliament. He tried to temper the remark saying there were some good people and he respected them.

This of course ensured MPs across party lines united against Ramdev.

Congress leader Jagdambika Pal hit out at Ramdev and said, "It's against India's parliamentary ethics. It's like character assassination of parliamentarians."

BJP senior leader Yashwant Sinha hit out at Ramdev saying, "He has no right to hit out democracy."

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said, "Ramdev is frustrated and a mental case."

Congress' S Chaturvedi said, "We don't need certificates from fake babas."

Earlier, Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal also made similar comments against parliamentarians.
