108 Indian fishermen arrested by Pak in last 4 months: Govt

Pakistani authorities have arrested 108 Indian fishermen in the last four months, the government today said. "Similarly, 39 boats have been detained so far by Pakistan in 2012 while 75 were detained in 2011," External Affairs Minister S M Krishna said in a written statement in Lok Sabha.

He also said that according to available reports, there are 434 fishermen, believed to be Indians, in various Pakistani jails.
