VK Singh prays at Vaishnodevi

Man of the moment, Army Chief Gen V K Singh, paid obeisance at the cave shrine of Vaishnodevi in Trikuta hills, Jammu. He was on a two-day visit to the Kashmir Valley to review the preparedness of the force on LoC.

He was accompanied by his wife Bharti Singh to the shrine. Gen Singh flew in from Jammu to Katra, base camp of the cave shrine and then to Sanji Chat helipad close to the shrine and offered prayers for about one hour last evening.
