Brics diagnosis: Leaders are meeting, but no real breakthrough

Back at the Brics summit plenary session, which has just ended, Sheela Bhatt says that when she asked a senior diplomat how Brics is doing, he said, "It is happening, leaders are meeting, that in itself is news." The diplomat, who cannot he named, added that countries are holding on to their positions and one cannot expect real breakhroughs in 2012.
