AP bypoll: TRS leading in four seats; YSR Cong ahead in one

TRS candidates were leading in four seats, while YSR Congress nominee was leading in one seat in the bypoll to seven assembly constituencies in Andhra
Pradesh, counting for which is underway today. 

 

According to initial trends, TRS candidates were leading in Station Ghanpur, Kamareddy, Adilabad and Kollapur seats, while Independent candidate and former TDP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy was ahead of his rival in Nagarkurnool. In Kovur, the YSR Congress candidate N Prasanna Kumar Reddy was leading over his nearest TDP rival S Chandra Mohan Reddy.


In Adilabad, TRS candidate Jogu Ramanna was leading over his nearest TDP rival B Shankar by a margin of over 7,800 votes after the completion of fourth round.
