Yeddy digs his heels in, refuses to go to Delhi

Yeddyurappa is digging in his heels, closeted with at least 50 legislators at a resort in the outskirts in Bangalore. The BJP central leadership might be forced to reinstate him as the Karnataka chief minister, for which the BSY-mandated deadline ends today.

Though party chief Nitin Gadkari counselled Yeddyurappa to be "patient' and abandon pressure tactics, other BJP leaders said a decision could not be delayed further.
