Prohibitory orders at Kudankulam, 100 protestors held

Two other stories that need to be told...    

 

One, is that scientists and workers have resumed work at the Kudankulam nuclear power plant amid tight security and prohibitory orders. More than 100 protesters were detained overnight yesterday. The convenor of the protest SP Udayakumar others protestors have begun a fast unto death after Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's U-turn on the nuclear power plant. Jayalalithaa began crackdown on anti-nuclear activists at the Kudankulam nuclear power plant on Monday, reports CNN IBN.

The government has imposed section 144 in the area.
