Adarsh scam: Six arrest warrants issued last night

Rediff.com's Toral Varia who is covering the Adarsh Housing Society scam says the first arrests in the case are expected some time today. Sources have told rediff.com that as many as six arrest warrants have been cleared late last night to execute the arrests. RC Thakur, promoter of Adarsh Society was picked up early this morning. Unconfirmed reports say that two IAS officers were also picked up for questioning.

In the past, on several occassions, the Bombay High Court had come down heavily on the CBI for lack of proper investigation and action.
