Our Delhi correspondent reports:

Speculation in Delhi political circles is that Janata Dal (United) JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav may emerge as the Presidential candidate, who both the BJP and the CPM will agree upon.

Yadav was a 7-time MP, has two terms as Union Minister with rich experience
in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh politics.

Yadav is also likely to be meet the approval of the Team Anna brigade after he condemned the brutal killing of IPS officer Narendra Kumar Singh, and held leaders of both the BJP and the Congress equally responsible for illegal mining in Madhya Pradesh.
