What are the chances of an asteroid hitting you?

Plenty, if you believe a report by the United States National Research Council. The report states that on an average, 91 people should be killed every year due to asteroid strikes.

It is a different case that there really are not that many known cases of people kicking the bucket after being hit by a giant rock from outer space!

In fact, the last time an asteroid crash landed on earth and created a smashing impact was in 1908.
