Congress president Sonia Gandhi was the first to arrive at 3.30 pm, the others arrived a little later. Sonia met the PM before this meet began. Pranab Mukherjee was one of the last to arrive. All the allies are present except Mamata. Omar Abdullah of the National Conference is the only one in a suit. Pranab sitting next to the PM. DMK's TR Baalu next to NCP chief Sharad Pawar. The DMK has not given its verdict on its candidate as yet.
