NCP may expel Sangma if he doesn't opt out of race

An exasperated NCP is likely to expel PA Sangma if he does not withdraw his candidature for the Presidential polls. Ignoring advice from his party, the NCP leader today said he continues to be in the fray for the Presidential election as a tribal candidate. NCP General Secretary D P Tripathi today met Sangma and told him that the party will support the UPA candidate in the Presidential poll, suggesting that he opt out of the race.
