TV reports that Sonia Gandhi will meet Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh today. If you've just joined us, Mulayam and Mamata Banerjee ignored the Congress choice of Pranab Mukherjee and Hamid Ansari and fielded three candidates -- APJ Kalam, PM Manmohan Singh and Somnath Chatterjee -- for the presidential post. None of the three, especially the PM, are acceptable to the Congress.
