BJP OK with Kalam

The BJP still silent on who their candidate is, but it did say earlier on that it was open to APJ Abdul Kalam as a presidential candidate. Yesterday, Kalam was named as one of the three choices by UPA allies Mamata Banerjee and Mulayam Singh, but both stopped short of saying who their first choice was. The BJP is likely to reveal its candidate by June 15.

As of now, the Congress is in a huddle at 10 Janpath.
