Reactions continued to pour in to the three names proposed by Mamata Banerjee and Mulayam Singh Yadav for the President's post.

Somnath Chatterjee, whose name was proposed by the TMC and SP chiefs, reacted by saying that he had not even heard about his name being in the fray for the top post.

Meanwhile, sources said that though the name of Chatterjee and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had been mentioned by Mamata and Mulayam, the duo actually wanted APJ Abdul Kalam to take over as the President again.
