Andhra HC refuses to cancel bail for Jagan's associate

The Andhra Pradesh high court today refused to cancel the bail granted by a special CBIcourt to V Vijay Sai Reddy, financial adviser to Jagan Mohan Reddy and a key co-accused in the disproportionate assets against the YSR Congress leader.

The CBI had sought cancellation of bail to Reddy. However, Justice S Govindarajulu observed that there was no extraneous consideration while granting the bail, hence there was no need to interfere with the order of the trial court.

Sai Reddy was arrested in January.
