Pak T20 team may head for India soon: Malik

Speaking to rediff.com, Malik added that the chairman of the Pakistan cricket board Mohd Zaka Ashraf had been invited to India to attend the IPL final on May 27, during which he met ICC president Sharad Pawar and IPL chief Rahiv Shukla.

Malik said to begin with, the Pakistan version of the T20 team is coming to India under the leadership of former skipper Shoaib Malik.

When Rediff com asked the envoy if the Dr Manmohan Singh would visit Pakistan at the time of the bilateral cricket series, Malik responded that in this part of the world, cricket diplomacy was well-known.
