The Central Bureau of Investigation has issued summons to Andhra Pradesh I-T Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah in connection with the Jaganmohan Reddy assets case.

A CBI team went to Ponnala's house in Warangal on Monday night to serve the summons.  Ponnala has been asked to appear before the makeshift CBI office at Dilkusha Guest House on June 7.

Sources said the CBI would interrogate Ponnala in connection with a controversial GO on supply of water from river Krishna to Penna Cements group.

A close aide of YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Lakshmaiah was the irrigation minister during his regime.
